How the 5-team round robin schedule works
Every team plays every other team exactly once: 5 teams means 5 × 4 ÷ 2 = 10 matches, split across 5 rounds of 2 simultaneous matches. The pairings come from the classic circle method - one team stays fixed while the rest rotate one position each round, which guarantees every pair meets exactly once.
Byes and standings
With an odd field of 5, a bye placeholder is added so the rotation balances - one team rests each round, and everyone rests exactly once across the 5 rounds. There is no knockout final: a standings table ranks teams by wins, then draws, then tiebreakers like score difference and points for. See the round robin scheduler guide for how ties are broken, or group stage into a knockout if this pool is feeding a bracket.
