How the 3-team round robin schedule works
Every team plays every other team exactly once: 3 teams means 3 × 2 ÷ 2 = 3 matches, split across 3 rounds of 1 simultaneous match. The pairings come from the classic circle method - one team stays fixed while the rest rotate one position each round, which guarantees every pair meets exactly once.
Byes and standings
With an odd field of 3, a bye placeholder is added so the rotation balances - one team rests each round, and everyone rests exactly once across the 3 rounds. There is no knockout final: a standings table ranks teams by wins, then draws, then tiebreakers like score difference and points for.
